ABOUT

ROUSE / rauz /

verb - to bring out of a state of sleep, unconsciouness

My Journey . . .

I began my career working within the social care sector, my supportive roles have seen me work with children, young people and adults, where I've had the chance to work in all types of environments from homes, hospitals and within the community.

People have always been at the heart of what I do. Getting to know a person and developing a relationship is crucial in understanding what helps them. This means exploring together, how they want to be supported and knowing that everyone is different and unique.

In 2019, I set off on a new path within my career and began studying to be a Person Centred Therapeutic Counsellor. I loved it, and by the time it came round to qualifying, I felt all I had learnt had greatly cemented, enhanced and solidified all of my previous years of support experience. I aim to bring everything I've learnt inside, to the outside.

Rouse Nature Therapy

Rouse creates a safe space within the natural world to confidentially share your thoughts and feelings. I believe being closer to nature makes us feel better in ourselves. It brings presence and meaning, allowing us to feel open and connected to a wider world. When you explore and share that experience with another, then it can open avenues for further self-exploration.

"Study nature, love nature, stay close to nature. It will never fail you"
